Ben is finishing up classes for the year and beginning to prep for Final Exams. He's pretty happy to report that he doesn't have as many actual exams as he has papers to write. But as writing is right up his alley, that shouldn't be too hard.
He's been having a lot of fun in theater this year and as many of you know, had the starring role in Charles Mee's Wintertime, which we made the trek to Bethlehem to see in February. Ben played a sexy Frenchman who had strong opinions on love, and to make a point about seduction, treated the audience to a strip-tease. Yep...right down to a teeny-tiny thong! Mom & Jay were lucky enough to have front row seats and saw more of Ben than we'd seen in years!
Last week he had another new show open - but this time he had an ensemble roll, so not as much to memorize...and more wardrobe!
He sent an email home a couple of weeks ago to let us know that he was selected as a member in Lehigh's Mustard & Cheese Drama Society, the country's 2nd oldest Drama Club -He is so thrilled as this'll make a good impression on his acting resume!
Here are a few pictures from Wintertime!

Mason has been casted for his custom braces. We expected to have them by today but haven't seen them yet. The braces are made of lots of plastic and velcro (which we got to pick out) and will need to be worn pretty much all the time he's awake. No need to sleep in them, and we're told he can go without them for another hour each day. I suspect come warmer weather that hour will be spent in the wading pool! A little over 2 weeks ago Mason & Momma picked out some material to make a weighted blanket for him to sleep with. It's supposed to have extra "imput" for his sensory disorder and help to calm his body. Well, we're pleased to say that he's slept all night for 16 out of the last 19 nights!!! Oh, if we'd only known that 2 years ago!!!
He's really enjoying his therapy...just like lots of play for him. Here are a couple of pics with his PT person, Jen working on his leg muscles.
Emerson is making good progress with her therapy as well. Just a couple of tight spots left to work on, one in her mid-back and one in her left shoulder. At this point her hips are quite straight - so nice to see, and so much easier to put a diaper on her when she's all lined up! She is starting to babble all the time now, ?I have some video to post...give me a few days...it'll be worth the wait! She started solid food and for the most part, is enjoying it. She is going to be 6 months old on Tuesday and we'll see the dr then to see how she's growing. Fingers crossed!
