We have an appt scheduled for Monday morning, which the Good Doctor said there was "no way" we would need...so if she doesn't show up over the weekend, we'll see what his words of wisdom are then! The light at the end of the tunnel???...we know of no one that has remained pregnant forever - she HAS to come out at some point!
On a sadder note: Ben was due home from Lehigh for his pacing break next weekend, but will be coming home this Monday instead. He lost his Grandmother Rautenberg on Friday, October 3rd at 85 years old. Carla was a sweet, sweet lady who spent her life caring for her family, her community and her country. She was born in 1923 and as World War II was under way in the late 30's and early 40's she became a USO Girl.
After the war, she and Ralph were married and began their family in Melrose, MA. They relocated to Cape Elizabeth in the 60's where she was very involved in garden clubs and school groups. Whether at home in Cape Elizabeth, or at Camp on Winnepesaukee she was all about family...big dinners to share and home made Christmas stockings for each grandchild. She'll be greatly missed.
