Ben returned to Lehigh today. Wow - that summer went fast! As airline prices are skyrocketing and we'd be looking at no fewer than 4 flights back and forth during the year, we opted to have him drive back to school. He made the trip today and arrived there with no trouble after leaving from his Dad's in Hampton at 8:10AM. I checked in with him at 3:00 and he was busy unpacking. He's going to be an RA (Gryphon) this year in charge of a floor of incoming freshman - Should be a challenge, but one that will show him what he's made of!
Mason turned 19 months old on Monday. And when I measured him yesterday he'd grown another inch since his 18 month check-up just a few weeks ago. He's now 34" tall...trying to catch up with his bro, we think. We have a new road and a new house going in our neighborhood and Mason is loving all the action - Dump trucks and wood chppers...WOW - His favorite new word? Digger. We find ourselves inspecting each days work up close and personal. He loves the equipment.
I had a Dr's appt today for Emerson and the good news is that she is no longer breech! Now, we're just hoping she stays put. The Dr said she should, and to insure that, he had a stern talk with her through my abdominal wall! And, though I didn't gain any weight over the last 2 weeks, she is now a healthy 5lbs 3oz! I think we may change her name to Buddah! She's gonna be a big girl!
