Beach To Beacon - August 2nd

Ben ran the Beach to Beacon on Saturday and did an awesome job!! He just started training a few weeks back, and not to religiously I might add! But it all worked out - he crossed the finish line in 48 mins and 32 seconds!!

Here is a clip of the race - You can find Ben during the last 30 seconds or so (he comes into view with 27 seconds left of the clip) - he is on the far left side of the screen...no shirt on, and makes a huge charge toward the finish line for the final push. You may note the time on the clock is behind his real finish time as he was quite a ways back in the pack at the start of the race.

We watched from the center of town and he looked strong when he came by us, just 9 mins off the Kenyans! He finished 1212 out of 5248!!
