Our Emmi Girl!

So we made another trek to the Doctor today - and what a great visit! We got to see our little girl in 3D!! Oh, did I say "little'?....I meant big girl. At our last ultrasound she was weighing in the 33rd percentile, today she was in the 73rd percentile...OH MY! It seems I'm at 30 weeks and 3 days pregnant, and she's measuring over 32 weeks.
With 9 1/2 weeks to go, she already weighs almost 4 pounds, and she's perfect in every way! Her only other surprise for us was that she's breech. The Dr will be keeping a close eye on both her position and her size over the next few weeks to see how things progress. We'll have another ultrasound in 2 weeks to see where we stand. If she decides to stay in that position, we're headed for a C-section. In theory, she has plenty of time and plenty of room to flip, at this point it's just a matter of preference - A girl's gonna do what a girl's gonna do!
As you look at her photo, you'll see dark areas at the top of her head - nope, not hair, just a shadow from the umbilical cord. And just under her chin you can see her tiny fist. We were hoping for more pictures, but her hands were in front of her face for most of our visit - So we'll cherish the one we have!
