Mason had his check-up with Dr Foster yesterday and he is in complete agreement with the therapists at CDS. He is very hopeful that together we'll be able to come up with some useful strategies to make daily life a bit easier for everyone here at 13 Hamlin Street. At this point, we've still not heard from them as to when therapy will start, but we are anxiously awaiting they're phone call.
Otherwise, Mason had a great check-up! He's up to 28.6 pounds placing him in the 58th percentile for weight. They measured his height at 34.25" but I think he was bent at the knees as he is running into our 35" counters at home in his barefeet!
Emmi is doing well too but she won't have another check-up until February. She's still sleeping really well, both day and night (Thank Goodness). Most nights she sleeps through from 10 to 6/7, and every now and then she is up once for a snack. But she loves to coo these days...babbling up a storm. Her personality is really starting to show up!! Daddy is her favorite...he gets the best belly laughs from her that anyone can.
If you might be interested in learning more about Mason's issue this is a great website that I came across...Just Google SPD Foundation
