15 Months Old - Holy Cow!

Hello All - Just returned with Mason from the pediatrician's office. Mason had his official 15 month physical and came away with some great news! He's finally growing off the curve...well for him at least ~ Normally, he weighs in at just enough to make the 15th to 25th percentile and today with 24.2 lbs on the scale, he's now up into the 44th percentile for weight. He measured 32" tall and his head is 19" around - we knew he had lots of brains! So that makes for 77th percentile in height and 80th in head size. Overall, he's doing great. Sleep is starting to get better, in fact the last few nights have been kinda nice - he slept all night on Saturday 8 to 6, then only one waking Sunday and Monday...I hardly dare to commit to written word, but...we're on a roll!!
He started music class 2 weeks ago and LOVES IT! They all get handheld percussion type instruments and learn songs, they march around the room, they play with scarves and pretend to be animals. All in all, a big hit! We still go the library for rhyme time on Wednesdays, but he's a bit less committed to the rhymes and instead, fascinated with the stairs and touching the other babies hair...go figure.
Ben will be home from school in just a couple of weeks - and hopefully he'll bring some sunshine and warmth with him. He called the other day to tell me that he got a bit of a sunburn...I explained to him that we seem to be the last house in Cape Elizabeth with snow in the yard. Ugh - Spring in Maine.
Enjoy the pics - Mason wouldn't hold the frog so Jay layed him down next to him on the floor...close enough! And if you like tongues, Mason loves to show his off!
