We're back from vacation...but we don't want it to end yet. We were due to stay in VT until Saturday but Mason just didn't approve of the sleeping arrangements, so we came home on Thursday. I wish I could say that he's sleeping much better now that we're home again, but it isn't happening just yet.
We had a great time...the weather was perfect, the leaves were just starting to turn so we got to see some nice color here and there and we got in as many factory tours with eating as we could. Cabot Cheese put on the best spread ~ and Jay and I would highly recommend the Cabot Cheddar Shake...a grated cheddar cheese to sprinkle on popcorn, potatoes, veggies...OH MY GOODNESS...So Good! Mason cheated on his milk free diet and had his first taste of ice cream at Ben & Jerry's...he loved it! The sample of the day was a new flavor called Bananas on the Rum...sounds kinda bad, but it was surprisingly good and Mason gave it very high marks! He also loves apple cider and cider donuts. On the way home we stopped at the Popeye's at Exit 3 and gave Mason a taste of their world famous biscuits...They've long been a highway staple for Ben (who was very jealous that he wasn't with us to introduce Mason to them)and they were a hit too!
