Hello Hello -
Mason did it again...that is, he got another month older already. You'd think time would move more slowly when you're awake to 'enjoy' so much of it...but it seems to fly no matter what. Needless to say the Ferber plan isn't working as well as we'd hoped. I guess it was going OK but then Mason got his first cold..runny nose, sneezing, I don't want to be without my Mommy cold. So that put us off pace with Dr Ferber and his hopes that after 5 days +/- we'd be enjoying hours of uninterrupted sleep. So when he's fully over the cold we'll start over with the process and see if we can make some headway.
Ben called from school this week to let us know that he's declared his major!! He's decided on Political Science - he's taken some of the core classes and seems to be enjoying them so he feels it's going to be a good fit for him. Tryouts are underway for Lehigh Club Basketball and at this point, he's still in the running - he was on the team last year and hopes to make it again for another season.
Jay, Mason & I are headed to VT for a week (if Mason allows) for some much needed R&R. We've not had a formal vacation since Jay started his new position with Smith Barney and after a summer of packing and moving and unpacking we're all ready for a break. We plan to take in a few tours - Ben & Jerry's - Vermont Teddy Bear - Cabot Cheese...Champlain Chocolates...maybe we don't need a vacation, maybe we're just hungry??? Any way it should be fun -
