And we're back!!

Another month has passed...boy I'm getting lazy at this blogging thing huh?
Where to begin? Jay is back from all of his travels...Super Bowl and the Daytona 500. He had a great time at both, got to travel with great friends and had really nice weather for the bulk of both trips. He ate some rattlesnake, attended a Kid Rock party and the Phoenix Open while in AZ, and even managed to get a bit of a tan while in Daytona!
Mason had his visit with the Orthopedic Doc and it went well. If they need to "correct" anything, they'll be waiting until he's at least 3 years old. In the mean time we have some stretching exercises for his ankles to try and get them to like being flat...So far Mason is not a fan. But he has stared to walk normally from time to time. It never lasts more than a few steps at a time, but it's progress.
The toe-walking hasn't kept him from mastering new climbing skills - he can easily get on the couch and the chairs now...he climbs up, and runs from side to side. If only he could learn how to get down. We're predicting some big bruises on the head coming his way!
Ben was home for Spring Break last week and brought his friend Nick with him. It was Nick's first trip to Maine and though he liked it very much, he'd like to come back in the summer when it's a bit warmer! Who could blame him? Just under 2 months and Ben will be back home for summer!
In other news...for those of you that haven't heard, Jay and I are expecting another baby in the fall!! It's been another long process, but we're delighted that everything looks very good, the baby seems to be growing well and if all continues to go well, come October 4th we'll be buying a lot of extra diapers!!
