We treated Jay to what was supposed to be a surprise 40th birthday party on January 5th. After staying home sick a couple of days that week, he managed to figure out what I was up to...Oh well, we still had a great time.
One of Jay's "Life Goals" is to attend the top event in each major sporting category ie: The Super Bowl, The Masters, The World Series etc...he hasn't done any of them yet so we decided to get him started and surprised him with a pair of tickets for this year's Daytona 500. He'll be leaving on February 14th with his friend Pete for the 50th Running of the event - should be a great time!
The best part of the party for Mason was "helping" Mammie with the cake!
