Hello, Hello! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!
Yes, I know we've been a bit behind with the updates. But here we are (by the way I have half the lights on the tree, but thought a break to post was well earned). We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that came to our Holiday Kick-off party. We had a great time seeing everyone...you're all welcome to come by anytime. No formal invites necessary!
Mason is now over 11 months old and doing great. He saw the GI Dr for the last time (woo-hoo) he weighed in at 21.3 lbs and almost 30" tall. If you can believe it, he's bigger now than Ben was at a year! We'll have to wait a few more years to see if he got the tall gene too, but he's on track to be a big kid! He's walking all over now, Jay was an early walker so he got that gene from the Cross/Pike side of the family. He's still holding at 5 teeth, let's just say they've been tough to get through. We'd love to report that he's sleeping all night but instead we'll just say he's doing a great job with his daytime naps. You can figure out the rest. Favorite new passtime? His rocking horse.
Ben is down to one final exam before he makes his way back to Maine on Wednesday night. He's had a great 1st semester and is looking forward to the next one already. He's been taking some "classes" to become a Griffin next year - like an RA. They have more tasks and lessons next semester so no word yet as to if he gets in. We're hopeful that he will, as that means free room and partial board which will help with finances as he wants to spend the 2nd semester of next year abroad. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
Hope everyone is well. Enjoy the new pics! Lynne & Jay
