Ben was home, Mason was happy and Jay was busy working in the yard...oh and I painted some more! Yes, we had a great time with Ben home, Mason was so happy to see him...he just stared and laughed.
Jay got started on our patio and walkway project with the help of a professional stone mason who was able to lend us some of his down time. Over the weekend they got all of the ground dug up, leveled and filled with crushed stone. This Saturday the original owner of our house will be over to help lay the stones...he did the walkway out front and agreed when we purchased the house to help with the rest. It's going to be beautiful! We'll post more pictures as the progress dictates.
Ben had his friend Emma over on his last night home to carve pumpkins. They had a ball, well except when they realized the big pumpkins have tons of seeds that need to be taken out! But Ben's prized carving is now adorning our porch, not sure if it will last until the end of the month, but if the cold weather continues it just may!,
